We operate on two sections of the river, we can choose between them to make sure we give you the best trip on the river for the conditions. The biggest day out on New Zealand white water.
The Gorge run covers 15km of the spectacular Kawarau River including the infamous 'Chinese Dogleg' section and the rushing rapids of the 'Roaring Meg' section. This trip has it all with big Grade 4 rapids, big gourmet lunches and small group sizes.
Your safety is our main priority and all guides are fully trained and have extensive experience, we have a 100% safety record. There are a maximum of 10 clients between two guides.

This experience is available December 1st to December 24th and January 15th to March 31st during suitable river flows.
Minimum age for this experience is 8 years old - we bring an extra guide for under 12 year olds.
This experience departs daily at 9am.
Please note that it is weather dependent and may be cancelled if the weather or river conditions are not suitable.
Duration
Please allow 4 hours for the entire experience, with approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours in the water.
Dress Code
You need to bring a towel and your swimmers. We provide a 5mm wetsuit, neoprene booties, life jacket, fins, helmet and a bodyboard.
