Fishing in Akaroa is all year round, so there is not a day where you will be disappointed. This is not your ordinary fishing experience, we combine fishing with the wonderful sights and sounds of the outdoors.
We provide the bait, rods and tackle so all you need to bring with you is your sense of adventure. We bottom-fish for blue cod, red cod, trumpeter, sea perch, terakihi, gurnard and kahawai. Catches of salmon and have been made on occasion.

Dress Code
Please dress comfortably. Bring along warm, waterproof clothes if fishing in winter and togs, towel, hat and sunscreen if in summer. We recommend bringing snacks and a camera.

Q: Are children allowed to go fishing? A: Yes, children are more then welcome. If there are more children on board, we will help cater to this. There is a minimum of 2 paying adults required for the fishing trip to commence.
