Learn to fly a Helicopter in this Trial Instructional Flight in Taupo. Sitting next to one of our skilled instructors you will have the opportunity to take the controls of the Helicopter while flying over scenic Taupo.
This is a ‘hands on’ 40 minute lesson with the thrill of flying one of our dual control helicopters. No previous flying experience is necessary as this flight is designed to help you decide whether you may want to continue further with your pilot license or you simply wish to say you have now flown a helciopter.
Your experience will begin with a pre-flight briefing inspection before going through the basic instruments and controls. Your instructor will then guide you through the start up, but take over for take-off. Once you are in the air, you will gradually take over the controls until you are eventually in full control of the helicopter.
Try to master the skills of hovering and flying, with a qualified instructor guiding you throughout. This is a once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget. It may even spark a new hobbie!
