Skydiving is an unbeatable sensation! Learn to skydive with an instructor, and during a tandem skydive you will fly through the air up to200km's an hour with approximately 20 seconds of freefall flying over Auckland.
After a 10min briefing you will be fitted with your special passenger harness.
As soon as you get into the plane your harness is attached and locked into your Instructors equipment.
Approaching Jump altitude a complete systems check is carried out and then out you go together .....WOW!
You'll be securely harnessed to your Instructor and ready for the thrill of a lifetime. As you take your first breath of air in freefall you will be absolutely amazed, it’s not like falling its more like flying and the view is incredible.
You whiz past huge white clouds on your rush back to earth and as you hit terminal velocity you are travelling at an amazing 200kms per hour. You will feel exhilaration like nothing you have ever felt before and you will wish it could go on forever. With the opening of the parachute the first thing that will amaze you is the quiet serenity after the wind roaring in your ears in freefall.
An amazing and certainly unforgettable Experience!
Q: What happens if the weather is bad? A: We make a weather call on the morning of the jump and if we can't jump that day we postpone the bookings to another day that suits you.
Q: Can we bring friends and family to watch? A: Absolutely, We take off and land right outside our dropzone building so it is very spectator friendly. Make sure they bring their cameras.
Q: Is there a weight limit? A: Yes we have a 100kg weight limit.
Q: How hard is the landing? A: As a tandem student you will be instructed to lift your legs up in front of you so your tandem instructor can touch the ground first. If you don’t land on your feet, you will glide in on your bottom and the landing impact is just like stepping off of a chair or a step.
Q: Can I talk in freefall? A: You can speak in freefall, but nobody will hear you. The sound you will hear in freefall is a white noise, imagine sticking your head out the window of a car travelling at 230 kph.
