Q: How should I dress? A: Comfortable clothing and shoes - workout clothes, shorts and a t-shirt is recommended; jeans are restricting to leg movement. You will be wearing a jumpsuit over your clothing. If you wear contact lenses or prescriptions glasses tell your instructor so that the instructor can fit you with appropriate goggles
Q: Can you breathe in freefall? A: Of course you can. The freefall and parachute environments do not cause any difficulty in breathing; however, some students have commented that it was awkward to breathe during the first few seconds. This is caused not by lack of oxygen but by the surge of adrenaline and excitement of first jumping out of the aircraft. Sometimes when a person is startled they draw in a breath of air and hold it. When you exit the airplane you must continue to breathe in and breathe out
Q: How fast will we be falling? A: Typical freefall speeds are approximately 120 MPH (200kph) although this can increase or decrease with body size and position
Q: What about your equipment A: We have the most up-to-date student and tandem parachute equipment available in the world today.
Q: What's the landing like? A: Several factors come into play when we land a parachute. Most tandem parachute landings are very soft, usually times standing up nicely.
Q: If I'm jumping with a friend can we be in the airplane together? A: We will make every effort for you to jump with your friends, however, this is not always possible.
Q: Can we share a video? A: Two people can appear in one video on the ground preparing for the skydive and possibly for landing, but in freefall, one tandem can only be filmed by one camera
Q: What if I am over the weight limit? b> A: If you are over the recommended weight of 230 pounds or 100 kgs, it might still be possible. Our instructors can evaluate persons close to the weight limit
Q: What's the best time to skydive? A: We are open 365 days a year and we jump 365 days a year, weather permitting. We recommend early morning
