The Experience

Are you ready forthe experience of a lifetime - breathtaking, insanity inducing freefall at over 200kmph, over the skies and beaches of Auckland?! Jumping from 13,000ft into the beautiful New Zealand skies.

We are 110% committed to providing a safe, friendly, and comfortable skydiving atmosphere with the best equipment and fantastic instructors. All those brave enough to face their fears will be fully guided through an adrenaline fuelled, mind blowing experience that is sure to be second to none!

Your experience begins as our friendly 'frontline' crew will show you an example of our DVD - maybe even one of someone thats just jumped, and then sit down with you and go through how your going to feel and what your going to experience!

Then its time to get "Geared Up" and meet your instructor. Here they will give you a jump suit and harness, hat and goggles and gloves if required (normally in winter). As they gear you up, they will give you all instruction required, very simple to follow as basically your going along for the ride and your instructor will do everything to ensure you have a great time!

You board the aircraft right out the front of the hangar. Our custom made PAC 750 XL will take approximately 20 minutes to get to altitude, giving you plenty of time to take in the stunning scenery!

Get ready to say farewell to the plane. As the green light comes on the door, its jump time! The door opens and you will feel that rush of air! You and your instructor shimmy to the door until your feet are dangling over the edge. 3..2...1. out you go!

0- 200 kph in 8-10 seconds and then .... your freefalling for a 45 incredible seconds! This is the adrenalin rush you have been waiting for! You don't feel like you're falling - its just like being on a huge cushion of air.

Your parachute is pulled at 5,000 feet giving you approximately 5 minutes to gently float back down to earth taking in the beautiful scenary. If the conditions are right your instructor will let you take the reins – helping steer your parachute back to the the landing zone.

Tandem skydiving is very weather dependent and usually cannot be undertaken in strong winds, or total cloud cover. New Zealand weather can change very quickly so we ask that you phone the supplier 24 hours and 1 hour prior to your booking time to confirm your skydive.

Customers will be declined if under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

You may not jump if pregnant or if you have a head cold.

Duration

Please allow 2 hours for your skydiving experience.

Dress Code

Please wear sensible shoes (trainers rather than hiking boots as these tend to have heels and catch on the ground). We recommend comfortable & multiple layers of clothing. We provide you with a jumpsuit and hat and goggles.

For the winter months we do have gloves available for your use however if you have your own we do recommend bringing them. Wear layers suitable to the weather – remember you lose 1 degree for every thousand feet you climb, making those winter days a little chilly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I bring spectators?
A: Absolutely. The beauty about our landing zone is that it all happens at the same place and so your friends / family will be able to see you board the aircraft and will then be able to watch you land. We have picnic tables and comfortable amenities, for the use of spectators.

Q: Is there a weight limit?
A: Yes there is, for safety reasons we are unable to take anyone over 100kg’s.

Q: What is the age limit?
A: There is no true age limit to having fun! We have had people as old as 90 and as young as seven skydive with us. We do ask that all jumpers are 6 or older as all participants need to fit safely into the harness. If you are under 18 years of age, you will need a parent of guardian to sign the consent form on your behalf. Young children are assessed on a case by case basis and will depend on whether or not they can fit properly in the harness which can be checked on the day and please note that children’s ear canals do not develop fully until at least 9-10 years old, any younger than this, some serious discomfort may occur .

Q: What if I wear contact lenses or glasses?
A: No problem at all, you need to be able to see whats going on and where you are going! Contact lenses can be worn and for glasses we have slightly larger goggles which fit snugly over the top.

Q: What about the landing? Will it hurt?
A: Not at all it’s a very soft landing. Our parachutes are designed for tandems and so are very easy to steer and slow down ready for landing. Depending on the conditions you may slide into land on your bottom or you may land standing up. If you have knee or leg injuries there should be no issue – just make sure you tell your instructor and they can adjust your landing accordingly.
