You don't need a license to ride these Quad's and they are very easy to learn. A full tuition session is provided at the start of each tour and instructions are given to each individual on an individual basis.
After the training its time to head out & tackle whatever the track throws at us. Maneuvering your bike among the trees and splashing through mud, the track has something for all ages.

We can take up to 20 riders on any one session. This experience will run regardless of weather (except in circumstances where safety prohibits).

Duration
Safari time is approximately 1 hour. Please allow approximately 1.5 hours for the entire experience.
Dress Code
Fully enclosed shoes and long pants are required. Wet weather gear is provided for riders in the event of rain. Don't forget your camera.

Q. How old do I have to be? A. Minimum age of 14 years old to ride the bikes on the safaris, this is also subject to the guides discretion making sure the client is in control of the bike before departure. Q. Do I need a license? A. No, you don't! In fact you don't even need to know how to drive a car! The bikes are very easy to learn how to ride and full tuition and instructions are given to each individual on an individual basis. Q. What if it's raining? A. Weather does not effect the departure of our safaris as the quad bikes perform equally as well in either wet or dry conditions. In over 20 years of business we have never postponed or cancelled. Q. What sort of bikes do you have? A. The majority of our fleet are current model Honda TRX250EX sports quads. Very light and easy to ride. The rest of the fleet are the Big Red TRX300s. They are very stable and require the use of your arms and legs to control the bikes. Q. How many bikes do you have? A. We can run up to 20 bikes on any tour. Q. Is it difficult? A. The bikes are easy to learn how to ride and full tuition and instructions are given. The guide is constantly in touch with the riders progress during the safari, evaluating skills and advising where necessary. The guide will tailor the tracks to the riders capabilities. Q. What do I need to bring/wear? A. You need to wear boots or sneakers (strong closed in footwear), long pants and suitable clothing for the time of year. Wet weather gear is provided for the bike safaris in case of rain. Make sure you bring your camera, but please consider how you will carry it on the bike. Q. Can I take photos? A. Yes we recommend you do, however be sure to consider how you will carry your camera (bring a bum bag or small backpack to carry your camera in).
