The mini challenge cars are powered by a 1.6 litre turbocharged four cylinder engine producing 145kW. Hitting the track in one of these racing Mini's will give you the ultimate thrill and adrenalin rush.

Please note that drivers must have a current and valid full drivers licence to participate in the drive experience.
Please note that this is a ‘Driving Experience’ and not a ‘race day’, while you will get to experience the performance capabilities of the Supercar some restrictions to cornering speeds will apply on the day.
We also offer hot laps in all of the Supercars on the day (Pay & Drive). And if your guests bring their Driving License with them they can also drive on the day too (subject to availability).
Total drive time is approximately 8 km's
Optional Extras:
We offer a damage waiver insurance which is available by paying a fee of $45 on the day. The damage waiver Insurance is void if the participant is found to be driving negligently/dangerously or not listening to the instructors instructions. You can also pre-purchase the waiver by selecting the option on the right hand side of this page.
Photo Packages We'll have a professional photographer on hand on the day to take photos of you beside the car. The photo can be purchased via the options to the right and this is available to pickup on the day.

Q. Can friends and family come down and watch the drive? A. Spectators are more than welcome to come and share in this great experience and take photos. Q. Can you get DVD’s and/or Photos of the drive? A. Yes definitely, we offer USB video sticks and framed photos. Check out the additional options to add these! Q. Is the car automatic or Manual? A. Manual transmission Q. Do you need a full driver’s license to participate? A. Yes you do, if you do not have full drivers licence one of our professional drivers can take you for a hair raising drive. Q. Are there food and drink facilities at Hampton Downs? A. Refreshments are available at the track, we can also arrange Catering feel free to contact us on 09 414 2507 to arrange Catering. Q. Any Height and Weight Restrictions? A. As a general guide there is a height restriction of 6'5 and a weight of 120kg, if you are outside of these parameters please call us to discuss available options. Q. What is required from me before I have my Drive? A. No alcohol is to be consumed within eight hours of participating. Occupants must wear long non flammable clothing, long pants and enclosed footwear.
