This is a truly stunning Harley Davidson ride departing from Queenstown and riding along the shores of Lake Wakatipu, taking in all the sights along the way and plenty of time to stop for photo opportunities along the lake shore.
We head out from Queenstown to Glenorchy and the first part of the trip is spent looking out across Lake Wakatipu, towards Walter Peak Station.
We then turn the corner and head up towards Glenorchy with dramatic views right up the lake to Kinlock and Glenorchy – a truly amazing ride in the New Zealand countryside with unbeatable dramatic views of the mountains all around you.
We have time for a drink stop in the wonderful town of Glenorchy, a ride past the house with the grass roof, before heading back towards Queenstown.
Although you are heading back along the same road that you came in on, the views are of totally different mountain ranges, as you are now looking at the view that was behind you as you were travelling up – a truly dramatic and thrilling trip.
