Holden Fan? Ford Fanatic? Jump into a V8 Race car at the new Hampton Downs Motorsport Park in South Auckland for 5 laps and feel the thrill that keep the professionals coming back for more!!
Start your V8 experience by getting geared up in a race suit and boots. Then comes your briefing taken by a qualified in-car consultant who will take you through some of the theory behind racing and safety aspects.
Now you are ready to go and you've made your choice between our Holden or Ford V8 race cars, a professional driver will take you on a introductory lap. This lap will give you a feel of what to expect from your car and the track. Feel free to invite a spectator along on this lap so they can feel the thrill of the V8 Race Experience.
Once you have completed this lap, it is up to you to put your settle in and hit the track for 5 laps of pure driving excitement. You will have an in-car consultant accompany with you to give you some tips on the way and push the V8 to achieve the best lap time possible. Once you've crossed the finish line and had some time to catch your breath, you will receive a presentation folder which includes a certificate and an A4 photo.

All drivers must be over 15 years of age and hold a valid driving licence
No alcohol can be consumed prior to the activities and we reserve the right to refuse an activity to persons who we reasonably suspect to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Family and friends are welcome to come watch, we have a viewing deck and all facilities are provided for your use.
Race times are: 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm and 2:00pm.
Optional extras: Damage Indemnity Waiver $50 incl. GST. (Limits maximum damage liability to an agreed limit of $300 per incident - payable on the day).

Q. I can take the wheel & drive the V8 car? A. Yes sure, this is the real race experience where you take the wheel of the V8 racing car for 5 driving laps.
Q. Do you provide any gear? A. You will be fully fitted out with the helmet, race suit, boots & gloves.
Q. Is the Driver always with you on the experience? A. The driver will be with you through out the experience, you will have a briefing & then one of the professional instructors will take you on a introductory lap & show you how its done.
Q. How long is the experience for? A. Allow 2 and half hours.
Q. Is there a minimum age? A. 15 years +
Q. Can spectators come along and watch? A. Yes spectators can come along & your welcome to invite 1 spectator on a introductory lap.
Q. Is there any height and weight restricitions? A. As long as the participant can fit in a saloon of a normal car, they should be okay to drive our V8s.
